Rico is an actor and comedian, eloquent and entertaining, he is determined to win. His favorite foods are Pizza, ‘ I can eat 3 large boxes in 5 minutes’, he comments, Spaghetti and Fried rice with ikan bilis (anchovies).
He comes from a close-knit family and is the only one who’s obese. He is now living with his elderly parents to take care of them, and needs to be healthy to make sure his around for a long time to do so. Rico feels he let go of himself, and is not happy with the way he looks, as well as the fact that his weight hinders him from doing any sports and activities.
Being obese has also prevented him from moving forward in his acting career, and he is now more active behind the camera professionally. However, his true passion is acting and he would like to lose the weight to return to it. Rico’s frustration with his inability to take control of his life and gain back his health caused him to join the show, and he now feels that The Biggest Loser Asia is his only route back to a happy, healthy lifestyle.
